Power needed!

Last week I got a new Radeon HD 5750, 1gig DDR5. I was quite sad to see that there was not much difference in gameplay. The fan was making a strange sound. I though maybe it was because of 'Catalyst' software or the new DirectX 11. Since I'm runing on a Windows 7 Ultimate 64x I think, at least, I got the best OS possible. I am running it for close to 3 years now (windows 7 Ultimate beta). It's full of programs, games, codec for anything possible and impossible. I don't wanna format my computer. NO WAY!!! I have combination of codec that works with Sony Vegas and Virtualdub that are very particular. I though maybe it's slow because I run a Web Serveur on my PC.

But after all those reflection... who are, like always, too complicated for nothing, I came to a easy conclusion. I may need more powers. Graphic card need 'juice'. It suck a lot on the power supply. Since I have also 3HD that also suck on it.... and 350wtt power supply.... WHAT!!! 350wtt!!!!
I though I changed it last time I got the new board and processor. OMG!!!! So I ran to a computer store to get a new one. Those power supply are much expensive those days. My 350wtt Antec was 40$ 4 years ago. Now It's Termaltake 500wtt for 60$. It's a good brand.

After changing it and restart... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! My computer rebooted soooooooo smootly!!! No more sound from fans. Everything is now perfect! Next step to change in this computer will be board, processor and memory (DDR3). I have a dual core 2.4/2.4 and 6 gig of ram (DDR2) for now. When I will change that I will need more than 600$ to get something acceptable. And I will have to format. Soooooooooo... it's not for today. Maybe in 1-2 years.

I lovesssssss computer!! It's my best friend. I can't live without one or without internet. It's my biggest passion!

New computer graphic card!

Yesterday I got a new Graphic card ( sapphire radeon HD 5750) for my computer. I had was fanless Gforce at 40$. I also added 2 gig of RAM to have a total of 6. This is a very important point when you don't wanna format your computer after some years. I needed to feel like a fresh format!!! This weekend I will only play games. I don't really need high hands card. In a way... just few extreme gamer need this. Or in many whay extreme fish!!! Many people who buy a graphic card at more than 300$ are manipulated to do so by the computer store staff. This disease is seen most of the time in men. If a man speak about new and hot electronic to another man.... no one knows why.... usually the guy will buy it. And most of the time he don't even use it. That is really funny to observe. Man never listen women advices for machines. Only man to man. But if you don't wanna end up with a 3000$ computer complitely uselessly boosted... ask a woman hahaha!!!

Apache email setting pop/smtp done!

Yesterday I configured email posting. Sadly I cannot post with my cell direcly (SMTP Certificate in apache Ahhhhhhh). I can't send picture from my OVI mail to gmail for posting. It ask for smpt. But when I use hotmail it works automatically. It really drives me crazy. I will try to understand it better this week and. The security on hotmail is now really crazy. I was sending email from gmail or OVI mail and it was blocked. I had to add them in safe adress sender. Well at least I found a way around (like always). I have to send it to hotmail then foward it to gmail to post. But it works. So now I will be able to post more often.
