Vegas and the road again!

Today before taking the road I have been to an old car display. Since I don`t play in Vegas I had to find something to do. I found some great cars.

There are my favorite of the day!



This Challenger is really nice... but better in black color.



When I had my first car... for sure it was not a nice one as those but I was able to tell where timing belt, battery, liquid, distributor, filter and carburator was. Today it was the same feeling of understanding again. Everything was soooo clear and easy at that time. When rough start just open the air trap in carburator with a screw driver and start. I was able to repair and understand it well myself. Now.... I open my hood and I am like oki......where is my transmission liquid?? Full injection cars are really hard for me to repair. I always fear to break a sensor or forget a cable. Everything is really packed inside. No more space to repair easily. I don`t even know where my starter is. I miss the old time. I`m not that old but my first car had a carburator.



The original one in 1969 was the coolest Pontiac Lemans even been done.



If I can have one someday.... It would be cool!

 

After 4 hours and a half we ended up in Bakersfield. My hotel is a Hilton. Got this room for 100$.



It`s the best I had so far. I feel like a busness man.

Los Angeles day 2 and Vegas!

First let`s put some more pics of my day in Los Angeles.



This was my view from my hotel on Sunset boul. This was a cool street but now it`s creepy and mostly at night.



On my way to the Kodak and Chinese theater I couldn`t ignore this rock institution!



X-men was playing at Chinese Theater. We got inside to check stores and stuff.



It great inside. For a fan of music I had to take a pic of the Capitol Record building.



I was mostly in LA for this pic.



Finaly The house of `Charmed` series that I watched sooooo many time. I was right there. It was too good to be true. No one was home so they was not disturbed by me :)!

Now Vegas..... toooooooooooooooo hot this place. I will put only one pics cause I`m tired.



My brother have more pics than me. He`is camera is better. I will put more later. Tomorrow we will head to Bakersfield.

First day trip. Carlsbad!

Me and my brother arrived yesterday at LAX airport. This is a big one but not that complicated. What was long was the rental car service. We waited 45 min to have our car. We was really tired at that time and we still had to go to Carlsbad beach. We got there in 2 hours because of traffic and some accident on the road.



I took a videos of waves crushing in the rocks. This sound is my favorite. It`s a very long beach and really clean one. The restaurant and deco there looks really like St-Sauveur. We got some italian food in a restaurant but...it was a bad choice. Really cheap food for high price.

Today  we are in L.A. and we will visit it as much as we can cause we only spend 1 day in it! Go! Go! Go!

 

Pwahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I'm tired!

After 3 weeks of stress at work I'm now free. I had 2 relaxing days before 1 week of stress on the road in L.A. and when back home  I will have 1 week to relax before moving with my husband. I'm not sure that I feel like I want to entertain anyone for now. I hope he will find himself something to do without me some hours a day. I'm not the kinda of person that can stick to someone  at home. I'm 90% on my computer :P!!! Those days I just wanna sleep and snore... If I do...!!

The Beach Boys 19th of june in Laval!

Just before going to U.S. I will go to a show in Laval. The stars are 'The Beach boys'. They are old but it's a legentary group. I'm really happy that my first show in my life are them. The only song I remember is 'Kocomo'. It was a song from the movie 'Cocktail'. It's the only thing I remember from this movie. I will sure drink some cocktail there!! Let's party!!!

X-Men First Class review!

Last weekend I watched the new 'X-Men' movie. Despite the fact that I pratically don't know any actors in this movie, they do the job fine. The story is great and Professor X is perfect. Even magneto was a good cast. However the 'accident' of Xavier is not the same as the one in the Comic books. In the comics, Xavier loose his leg in a lab explosion at the school. Also the other bug is young Xavier  who was living with Mystic. Where was juggernaut...his half brother. Did his mother already died from beeing poisoned by his step father? (Did I watched too much x-men????)

Little hint here : Alex Summer (Havoc) is the brother of Scott Summer (Cyclops).

I recommand you this movie. If you are a fan of x-men... you HAVE to watch it.

2 Weeks before L.A.!

There your go! 2 weeks before my trip to U.S., I found the address of the house used for outdoors shooting of my favorite series 'Charmed'. I though this house was in San Francisco but it's not. This house is north central L.A. I will have a picture in front that house for sure. I watched this series more than 5 times completely. I still watch some episode sometimes. It's the only series about witchcraft ever done right.

I need to make more plans to visit all those cities. I will try to do it this weekend. I always think I still have time to check but... I will do it last minute for sure. hihihihi!!!!!
