It was really cold on this day. We went inside the temple and 3 priest (one of them was a woman) came to chant for ancestors. After we burned some ancent putting some herbs in a pot. I was happy to have the chance to do it too. After we went up passing by a lot og graves.
Under those graves there is some bones witch you can bring to another temple where you chose to pray for your loved ones. For sure there is no body's under those graves. Some of those graves stones was really old.
At the top the view was really great! It was windy and my hands was frozen but the scenary worth it! Then we got back down slowly. Some other strangers went to visit this place also.
After a good coffee in a small café to recover from cold, it was time to go to Fukuoka. We took the Shinkensen.
I got this pics when the train was still high speed. I got lucky!!! This train is very silent and you can eat, drink and smoke in it! I will take one to go back to Tokyo for a little 1 days before going back home.
Traditional stuff and scenaries are great for sure but I also need some life, sound and concreat! More technologic world. We are in 2011 after all, not in 1840. Since in Québec we have a lot of nature everywhere even in big city, I don't miss nature at all. I always need modern and old stuff equaly. Making one step in the past to enjoy the future.
