Welcome to Toronto!

image

Well after driving for six hours we are now relaxing in a resto-bar close to the Hilton hotel we checked in. We just walked like 30 min to get to an open retaurant. Looks like there is not much restaurant around. This one looks fine. We've been to the CN tower. It was a bit feaky but I survived.

AOC : Brouilly

wine chosen : Brouilly Château de La Chaize 2009

This wine was little bit dry and a lot acid. The taste of gamay was killed by this acidity.

Supernatural news : Castiel Return on #717

EXCLUSIVE: Misha Collins on Castiel's 'Supernatural' Return
by Laura Prudom, posted Dec 5th 2011 11:35PM
Filed under: SpoilersTV NewsCelebrity Interviews

On Monday afternoon, 'Supernatural' fans finally received word that many had been waiting for with bated breath: Misha Collins is set to return to the cult series for episode 717 and at least two more when the show comes back from winter hiatus.

The news was met with such enthusiasm that Collins' name became a worldwide Twitter trending topic soon after his guest spot was announced.

Reps for the show informed us that they couldn't give specific details about Collins' return or which other episodes the actor would be appearing in, so AOL TV went straight to the source. Though Collins admitted that he couldn't reveal much, he would offer one tantalizing hint about what fans can expect when he makes his much-anticipated return ...

"I can confirm that the character of Castiel is returning to 'Supernatural,'" he told us. "I'm not supposed to talk about any details, but I will tell you this: The character is coming back somewhat changed. I'm not going to tell you everything, but I will tell you that the "new" Castiel no longer wears undergarments."

Since it's almost impossible to get a straight answer out of Collins on even a normal day, we're happy to take what we can get. We did ask Collins whether he could confirm that Castiel will appear as himself, rather than as a Leviathan or as his vessel, Jimmy Novak, as some have speculated, but he deferred, "I cannot confirm or deny that."

When the season began and Castiel's fate seemed sealed, executive producer Sera Gamble reassured us, "You certainly should not just ring the final bell on seeing Cas or Misha just because you don't know what episode he'll show up in next," so keep that in mind before you make any snap judgments regarding Collins' reappearance.

That being said, we'd love to hear what you make of this news, and what you think the aforementioned changes in Castiel might be (besides the lack of underwear) in the comments below!

亀梨和也 Extreme gay in Anan!!! Washhhhhh!

ARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!! What the fuck is that!!! If I had any dough about his orientation... it becomes clearer and clearer. How can a man who respect himself will do that. Come on!! Can you imagine Jensen Ackles doing that!

WaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaHHHHHHHH!!

Ok sure Kame looks barely like a man because of his mosquito physiology but.... JUST EAT REAL FOOD!!

AOC : Côtes du Roussillon Villages Latour de France

The AOC on the map I have is not the exact one of this wine so I got more information on Wiki.
The blend allowed is: Carignan (maximum 60%), Syrah, Mourvèdre (minimum 30% combined), Grenache Noir, Lladoner. Note that a minimum of three varieties are allowed in the blend.

This week wine : Domaine de Bila-Haut, Occultum Lapidem Côtes du Roussillon Village Latour fr France 2008

This wine is dry. Little bit too much tannin for me. The wood taste at least don't kill the fruit itself. This is a wine that you must eat while drinking it.

Blackout!

Since last week it's pretty dark outside when I go home after work. I prefer night than day but when darkness comes with cold grrrrr I hate that! I need to live in a warm country!!!

AOC: Anjou

This week AOC : Domaine de Brizé Clos Médecin Anjou Villages 2009

This wine was really great. Not dry, fruity, fresh! No tannin and low acid. Little bit of maple touch at the end. One of the best I tried so far.

Vent d'ange - St-Joseph du Lac

I went to my prefered winery in Québec last weekend. Vent d'Ange! This wine is really nice. It's a mixed taste between Chateau-neuf and Beaujolais nouveau. I got red and white wine for my husband. I don't usually like white wine but this one is soft and nice. I will try to get more before the shop close for winter.

Nature is nice. I miss it sometimes. My husband says he prefer country side. Since I don't like to spend all my free time on a couch, I need to have entertainment close to me. I don't wanna drive 1 hours just to go seeing a movie or spend time in a shopping center. I don't feel good stuck between 4 walls.

When you live in country side you have to know how to repair everything by yourself. Electricity, cars, house... When you don't know anything you live in city. I am born and raised in country side so I can handle a lot of repair. I am happy now that I am in city cause when something break I can just change it quickly with cheap stuff. In country side everything is expensive because they know that you won't go far to get what you need so you HAVE to buy at their shops. Most of the time everything is also not following the technology. In some general store, in small village, they still have 'Terminator' for ranting as new movie. I'm not stuck in time and I always need to renew myself. Being close to a big city is the best for me.

AOC: Corse Calvi

Today will begin a ritual. Me and my friend will taste a new wine every week. I will write review of the each wine. I want to try all the existing AOC in France. It's gonna take times but I'm still young. What is better than watching Supernatural while drinking a good bottle of wine ???

The first AOC will be : AOC Vin de Corse-Calvi

The wine chosen is : Domaine D'Alzipratu Cuvée Fiumeseccu Corse Calvi 2009

I am curious about this part of France. This is a mix between France and Italia. Let's taste it!!...

Well.... I tasted it last Thursday and I must say that I'm really not a fan. This wine is really acid and tannin. Too long in Oak barrel kill the cassis taste who fight to survive. It was probably my last try on Corse wine.

La famille Quiot!

image

It was a great wine show! My favorite wine maker invited me to taste 4 different wine for free. For sure I already know his wine up to 2003 taste. Even if it was expensive I got them at SAQ. The only one that I had no idear about was the 'domaine du vieux lazaret 1998'. M. Quiot says its a second aging process. The wine change a lot during this process. It becomes golden and get fruit aroma. The taste was like drinking god blood direcly! I will get an exeptionnal cuvé and keep it for 10 years. I love chateau-neuf du pape cépage! It taste strenght and power. Grenache is my favorite cépage. Second place its shiraz and the third is gamay. I want to know more on wine making.

Waaaaahhhhh Kamenashi!!!

Even after a long time I declare : This man is eatable!

Pouahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

La grande dégustation de Montréal!

This weekend it's the biggest wine show of the year!! Wine, Champagne and Whiskey are presented. I won't miss that. My favorite wine producer 'La Famille Quiot' Domaine du Vieux Lazaret - Château neuf du pape, will be there! Jérôme Quiot himself. I never though possible to meet him direcly in person. I'm really exited. The exhibition last 3 days. I will try not to be sick at the end of the night. My brother will sleep at the hotel in Montréal. Last time we went to an exibition last year we where really drunk after some glasses. This time I want to taste more. I won't try Porto or Whiskey so more wine.

亀梨和也 Kamenashi Kazuya new drama Youkai Ningen Bem!

It's been a long time since I watched any Japanese drama. I was waiting for Kame to make a new one. This is about a bunch of demons that helps human and hope to becomes human as well. Kamenashi is far better in serious character. I have hopes in this drama. The demons form is quite stupid look but the transformation is well done. I will follow it for sure. The woman who is with him is Watanabe Ken's daughter. She is actually tall and have same family trait. Since Kame is really small it gives bizarre fight between him and her but Kame's fan will like it anyway I think. It seems to be well directed. I will give it a 3 stars on 5!

Everyone needs to die at least twice...

Well now Castiel is a real character of Supernatural!! Like Sam and Dean, he now died twice!! Let's see how many times it will takes for him to be resurected this time. Sam will need to whip himself all the time to keep his brain in reality. Dean will probably jump a cable more and more. Since Sam is still weak Dean will wait to crack like he always do.

They will probably do something to Bobby. I think it's he's turn to be tortured and kidnap for a while. He will eventually pop up of nowhere like Hélène did after the fire of her bar.

For Cass... it's gonna be more complicated than that. I wonder if he's gonna come back as a angel or human. Tonight they go back in Sam's memory to show that he had some freak girlfriend when he was young. I bet on a demons or monster of some sort. She is not human. I'm really curious about her. I just hope she will die at the end cause they don't have time to spend on useless girls. I want more demons, blood and action!!!! Neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I got a condo!

That's it! Me and my husband got a condo Saturday. I didn't wanted to have a house that much but making money... I say yes!!! For me it's not a house at all. No land, no space between neighbors... this is not my view of tranquility. This is an investment. People becomes more and more lazy. They don't wanna plow snow, paint the fences of do any work outside the house. That is why condo popularity is growing that much. For older people it's also a better solution to move to a condo.

Anyway... mine is still under construction. I wanted to get a new one. I am sick of old appartment like I have now. I got old and crappy stuff all my life. Now I want something new. I won't pay that much money on old house that is stupid. Let's see what is included in my condo floor 7:

- Interior parking 1 slot.
- Central A/C (traps in all rooms)
- Security system with movement detector.
- Video interphones
- Choice of color for the wood floor and ceramic
- large concrete balcony
- Superior soundproofing (no kids screams or run, no barking from small fucking dogs)
- Unlimited outside parking (not in the street)
- Luster and built-in light
- Central hover ready
- 2 elevator in the Hall
- 15/15 Locker in the parking

Taxe included for 193000$ - 10%( cash down) so the loan is 174000$
It's really close to Carrefour Laval, Centropolis and Colossus. I can walk to the carrefour Laval and see it from my windows. I have a bus stop in front of the street. It's also not so far from the last metro station in Laval. For me it's a great deal. It's gonna be really easy to sell it with profits after some years. I'm happy with my choice. My husband is also happy. We can't wait to move from the cheap apartment we have now.

Artisteer!

Yesterday I got a new software that will help me to understand how to make great themes for blog. Artisteer is a software that makes blog themes just by clicking. It's quick and at least it does the basic function of a blog. For sure I want more than that on my site but this program give my the basic php files to begin with. I will modify it with times. For now... I also continue to learn php functions.

This site is now under construction!

Fast food!

image

Well today it's not a healthy day. I needed a bit of clown's food! What I like the most at Mcdo is coffee. Doing some php with fast food is the best! Today I will try to get data from a file with $_post. Language from machine is always easier for me than human one. Simply because I can do it when I want and where I want and I don't have to wait for anyone to help! There is a lot of sites, videos and books about it and I only need my computer to practice! For sure I can't try anything at the job but I read and try some codes on online php testing.

PHP knowledge needed!

Okiiiiiiiiiiii!!!! Well... when I got out of the school I learned only javascript. css and html. Well now that I have a blog since close to 1 year, I wish to understand and modify it more and more. I need PHP for that. Asfter ASP was out of the way PHP took a big place. I though it would be replaced already some years ago but looks like it won't happen. I decided to learn it.

My blog is hosted by myself. I have Apache/My SQL program called WAMP. It was easy to set up and understand. I also use a free web host to reroot my IP witch is NO-IP. This way I can put anything I want on my blog without ads or banner or plugin restrictions. I change the theme often because I'm never really happy with the one I apply.

I will take my time to learn it. Some code I already understand cause it's same as C++ I learned 10 years ago.
FOR
IF/IFELSE/ELSE
SWITCH/CASE/BREAK
WHILE

It's not like I'm brand new in learning this but I gave up on web pages 1 years after school.
Now I have time to give it a try again. I like web page but I also really love blogs cause it's easier to write on it everyday and everywhere, even on my Android cell. People usually like to use facebook or twitter for that but... I can't get use to those. I get tired of things really quikly. That's why I need to know PHP to change my page at will. There is many sites to learn and also some online test page when I am not home. Those sites read the php code like Apache do at home.

You always need a PHP decoder on your server to read the code. IE or Chrome won't be able to decode by themself. If you just write a php code in Note Pad and save it as toto.php you won't be able to make it works as long as Apache is not installed on your computer. It's same as Visual Basic that need some DLL to work. Any  language need that. Let's see if I can still learn stuff... even if I'm old hahahaha!

Yoshihiko Noda replace Kan in Japan!

Yoshihiko Noda, the ex-minister of finance replace Kan now as prime minister of Japan. Kan, After many promesses to quit, finaly did. Will it be better with Yoshihiko??? Something is sure.. I will have more trouble remember his name than Kan. The yen is high those days. Yoshi think that it's bad for economy. It's not always true. In Québec, even if the dollars is higher than US for now, Canada and Québec go quite well. The more you panic about it, the more investors from other country will stop investing. Panic is more dangerous in stock market than true economical state. Everything works by speculation. If you keep calm everything goes well.

Kan was not really popular (maybe also because of his fashion disorder). He ended up to be the worst in history, as my husband says. In Québec I don't remember who was the worst. The politic in Québec is not really something we care about. We just laugh of them and wait for the next. Last year I voted for NPD Jack Layton. This man had a friendly face of a good man. Sadly he died last week.
At least he had time to change things a bit. Let's wait to see if it's gonna change something. Japanese think the same about Yoshi, but like us, they don't expect much.

Rhinos massacre!

Today I was reading news on my favorite web site 'canoe' and one got my attention. It says that 'mostly' chinese get, by any possible way, rhino's horn to sell it like 'traditional medecine'. One thing they don't seems to understand about killing everything that lives for money (in the name of traditions) is that time change. A population of 2 millions of chinese traditionaly use rhinos  horn in the past and a population of now more than 1,339,724,852 of them it's quite different. I am sure they don't even care about that at all. Not even 1 min. For many countries : free animals = free money. Animals you have to bred it's too long and too much effort. Bunch of lasy ass!

When I was young, I though that killing animals was just something native american do. When I got 12 years old (before that I was too young to remember well), I realised that hunters dropped animals part all over along the road close to my home. I can still remember the smell of corps under the sun. Every year they did. Sometimes just the head or intern parts. It was horrible. I realised quite fast that humans was the worst creatures on earth.  With time passing, I though that most people will understand that we don't need to kill wild animals and just bred them ourself for food. Even fish can be bred now.

But even in 2012, humans are as stupid as ever!!! I was happy to read in that same article that some illegal hunters were killed.

If things going on like this for next 200 years.. only rats, cats and dogs will live on earth. Even those...I'm not sure....

Charisma Carpenter on Supernatural season 7!

Charisma Carpenter will be in one (or maybe more) episode of Supernatural. I also got rumors about James Marsters also guest staring. I am happy to be able to see 'Cordelia' again in the world of demon. While Buffy was always crying on her rough life, Cordelia was tough and funny. I don't think Buffy or Angel would have been the same if she wasn't there. I don't like sensitive heroes. Sadly, most of the time it's the case. Buffy, Angelus, Sam, Clark Ken, Phoebe and Pipper... Those kinda of characters sometimes drives me mad! we need more : Cordelia, Wesley, Dean, Lex and Prue. I like characters that kick ass without questions.

That is the proof!

Baseball!!

Last weekend I went to a baseball game with my husband. I love baseball!!!! When I was young I was often watching games on TV and sometimes just listening to one on my AM radio. I was really sad when my team was sold. After that I completely gave up on baseball.
Since my husband is Japanese and that baseball is the national sports in Japan, He wanted to watch a game in his new country of adoption. I made some research and found 'Les Capitales' from Québec city. It's a CANAM professional team but not major league. It's better than nothing so we went on a trip to Québec (3 hours by car).

The game was great!! The Pitsfield visitors was no match to the Capitals. We kicked their asses 7-2. I had a good time eating hot dogs and drinking beer! After the game we also had small fireworks show.

The day was long so we booked an hotel in St-Foy. It was a good one and really cheap. The next morning was bad weather. Along the way back home it was showering like hell!!!

My husband was about to begin his first day of work in his new job in Montréal on Monday. He was a bit nervous I'm sure. He will work at 'Volt'. It's a game testing company. I feel my life is just going around and around sometimes lol!! Anyway... at least I made sure he won't go to Enzyme Labs. He his working evening shift. I won't see him often but it will gave me more time to play games, watch Supernatural or listen to some music loud in the house! I like to have some times with myself everyday so it's perfect with me. That way I miss more my husband when he comes back!

Castiel death rumours!

On some sites now there is a petition to save Castiel character in Supernatural. Many thinks that he won't survive to the power he got from purgatory's souls. Castiel like Bobby are now part of the team. I don't think they can just die in a blink of an eye! If they kill him.... witch I dought, it will be at the last episode. Marketing wise, it would be a great mistake to kill Castiel. This series can last more than 7 season. If they start killing the best characters they have ... well.

Let's pray for Castiel!!!

亀梨和也 New drama in October "Yōkai Ningen Bem" (「妖怪人間ベム」)!

Well it was about time after more than 1 year.

The good part is to see Kamenashi acting again, the bad part is that this drama look really similar to 'Kaibutsu-Kun'. Demons who wants to becomes human.... Kamenashi for 'Full Metal' would have been a better idea. It really feels like they just wanna give KAT-TUN a pale copy of what 'Arashi' get before them. It's sad. Let's hope for the best!

ITHQ Montreal!

Last thursday, I reserved for the ITHQ (Institut de tourisme et d'hotellerie du Québec).  Since I watched the last 'Les Chefs' episode I was curious about native american food. I was lucky to see that the same guy was also supervising a native american week at ITHQ. I took a chance and tryed. It was a 5 service.

All the meals countained this extremely dry kinda od bread. We got a little 'amuse bouche' before this meal but it was sooooo smal that I forgot to take a picture.  A little bit of wapiti meat in this appetizer. The wapiti mix was really tasteless. I could not even say what was the difference from porc or beaf. It could have been anything.

The cold appitizer was really nice. I don't really like seafood that much but a little bit with good sauce was great change after meat.

The main dish was a lot of wapiti. This time I could tell the difference between this meat and the one I usually know. This one is more bloody. It taste a mix between beaf and flange. It's curious taste but not bad. The fish was well smoked. The main dish was really good.

That was my dessert. Again this bread with only blueberries jam and rasberries. It was really cheap.

After this experience I must say that.... if you have a lot of money to spend on a diner maybe native american food is a bit too much rustic for that.
I think it's better to eat with an Indian right in the wood around a good fire!

The Chief!

Last years I started to watch this cooking competition. I learned a lot watching that. There is so many things you have to care about when you present a meal to a client.

Balancing taste exp: salty/sweet
Texture contrast.
Colors and presentation
knowing all the possible meat or sea food perfect cooking method.
Knowledge of pasta and elementary dessert.
the use of various fresh herb mix.
And more.....

Cooking is really complicated. Last week, a native american chief asked them to make a native style dish with forest herb. This chief is from the restaurant: 'La Traite'. It's a 6 service restaurant offering high quality native american style food.   This is not that expensive but it's really far from where I live.

I'm happy to be born in Québec so I am used to all food from various countries around the world. I'm a taste maniac! After more than 5 years trying restaurant with my brother and friends: French, Arabic, Mexican, German, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese ...etc.  I can tell that I almost love them all. I want  to try more countries. My brother is also a big fan of trying restaurant but he feel unsafe to try some new stuff sometimes. We visited more than 100 approximately.  Not only for the taste but also many other criteria are checked.

I don't like to cook but I really like to eat!!!!

Dunn's!

Dunn's Laval on Curé-Labelle street. 3 stars /5

Yesterday I tried the new Dunn's in Laval close to my home. It was typical place. When you love smoke meat It's a good place to go. It's not expensive and you get a big plate. It's common food but I like the fries style and taste.  I'm not a fan of smoke meat but once in a while it's good to have some. Even when you push the door open you can smell the fresh some meat!

The globe!

I think it's about time for me to judge and class restaurant I try in Laval and Montréal. I will give them a note on 5 stars and also comment and details of my experience.

The Globe restaurant in Montréal. 1 stars

The food was really common for high price. The poor girls who serve food have really high heels, witch is crazy when we know that they spend more than 4 hours walking around. A Thursday, pay day... at 7pm... and 3 person other client than us in the restaurant. The music was so loud that we had to scream to each other. I asked them to lower it a bit but they refused telling me that it was for the ambiance. When I go to a restaurant I want to relax and talk and eat. If I want to scream I will go to a bar.

After eating a cheap lamb burger I decided to flee this place. When it was time to pay ...guess what!! No interac!!! It's a really a disease in Montreal. It's 2011... come on!!! Usually when you pay 60$ for your diner (1 person) you imagine that you will be able to pay the way you want. With the price they charge for that crap they must at least be practical.

The restaurant just before the Globe was full. I was wandering why at first but now I know. It was my first and last time at this restaurant.

TrainingPeaks!

Yesterday, I discovered this interesting site for people who wants to seriously train and keep track of what they are doing.
The site is free for the basic option and very expensive for more. But the basic are enough for my needs.

There is also an application for Android to help you keep your trainingpeaks account updated. The app is free.
I love technology!!!

Vegas and the road again!

Today before taking the road I have been to an old car display. Since I don`t play in Vegas I had to find something to do. I found some great cars.

There are my favorite of the day!

This Challenger is really nice... but better in black color.

When I had my first car... for sure it was not a nice one as those but I was able to tell where timing belt, battery, liquid, distributor, filter and carburator was. Today it was the same feeling of understanding again. Everything was soooo clear and easy at that time. When rough start just open the air trap in carburator with a screw driver and start. I was able to repair and understand it well myself. Now.... I open my hood and I am like oki......where is my transmission liquid?? Full injection cars are really hard for me to repair. I always fear to break a sensor or forget a cable. Everything is really packed inside. No more space to repair easily. I don`t even know where my starter is. I miss the old time. I`m not that old but my first car had a carburator.

The original one in 1969 was the coolest Pontiac Lemans even been done.

If I can have one someday.... It would be cool!

After 4 hours and a half we ended up in Bakersfield. My hotel is a Hilton. Got this room for 100$.

It`s the best I had so far. I feel like a busness man.
