It was the chance to remember all those group I don't really see often. Old song who was also good like this song from V6 - Music for the people lovin'.
It was always a good years start!!! This year I will have my husband with me... It's better in a way :P.
I guess maybe it's because KAT-TUN lost Akanishi Jin. They can't put KAT-TUN on stage with Akanishi waiting in the background. He quit the group but not the company. He was maybe afraid to be treated badly by KAT-TUN fans if he had shows up in a countdown. But.... he could have stayed at home that's all.... anyway...

Yeah.
It's always enjoyable to see the Johnnys perform, even if it's the same songs year after year (especially for the older groups).
As for Jin's departure from KAT-TUN, I don't think it would have affected the show anyway; after all, they did it without him before. It would never stop the jimusho from doing what it wants.
An obscure reason that we'll probably never know. It's kinda sad for the fans... but not too bad for the groups, as most of them are doing other projects at the time...

There is no official countdown for Johnny's entertainment this year. Music station made one some days ago called Music Station Special Superlive. You can download it on the net just by searching it on google.

I was looking on fujitv.jp website and they do have the countdown listed. Its sold out and will be Dec. 31st. Also wasn't there news recently saying that Arashi even though they are hosting Kohaku they are still going to have a live feed for the countdown?
