Johnny's Entertainment Style in Montreal.

Today when I came back from work I got a pics of a young asian wearing JE style cloth. It's hard to take a pics of someone while a subway is running and look natural hahaha!! I think that he had some dough that I was focusing my cellphone cam on him but I took a chance. No one wears that kinda of hat in Montréal with a scarf and shoes with same colors on. It really look like he was going to a photoshoot. Kawaiii!!!!!

22 days before flying to Japan!!

(JAL airplane with ARASHI poster on it.....if the plane crash survivors might say... I was sitting close to Matsumoto, That's why I survived hahaha!!!)

Those days I can't concentrate on anything. I try to do my workout but bearely do 1-2 days a week. I try to learn japanese like I used to do everyday but I can't set my mind to it. The only things I'm thinking about is Japan and my husband who is there waiting for me. I miss him. It's been 5 month since I saw him. I decided not to call him since I don't have a landline anymore and no international package on my cell phone. I follow his moves on his blog. Everyday is going to shopping center, interview, shrine or closest city for a ride. Since I go to shopping center only once a week or less, I think he might get bored in Québec with me. If he is willing to drive me around I will be happy to follow him. I don't really like to drive.

However, he will be at home in Québec. Not a room at someone's place but private home where you can do whatever you want. I think it will be different for him. I'm curious to see how he will react to a quite life in a quite french country. Here life is much more slower and calm than Japan or Dubai. Since I've been with him for not more than 3 weeks in total, I don't really know him. I choose him for his heart and body but I still have a lot more to discover. I wonder how everyday's life will be with him.

For now I'm counting days. My new family in japan is getting important for me. I also miss them. Okaasan was sad when I left last time. Otousan was also but more shy. I gave him a hug before I left. I know japanese don't like to be touch but... I said to myself that they will have to make an exeption for me. After all, I'm french and I love them. I am sure they will get use to it. Daisuke seems to be more like his father on the outside but inside he is sweet and soft like his mother. He's the perfect mix hahaha!!

Ahhhhhhhhh!!! I really can't concentrate!!!

Leslie Nielsen is dead!

Sadly today my favorite comedy actor is dead. He was 84. No details on his death. My favorite movies 'Airplane!' and 'Naked gun' will stay in my mind forever. It was good when comedy movies was not vulgar or obsene but just funny and absurd. It's a great loss for the industry. I wish I could be young again to wait for his next movie.
Rest in peace Frank Drebbin!!

Last clarification process!

Yesterday I transfered my wine to a new countainer. Now it's the last clarification process to be done. Because this wine is suppose to be able to age in the bottle, I had to add some 'medisulfate potassium' to help lower the bacteries in the bottle. Only 14 days to wait now. I'm happy that my wine will be finish to bring one bottle to my japanese family for christmas.

White shit is back!

Today I though about returning to my bed. I went out to take the bus at 8:10 and at 9:15 I was still waiting. It was raining and snowing .... One of the other people who was waiting for the bus with me got a taxi for us. I arrived at work at 10h. Cold, tired and angry. That a beautiful friday! Tonight I will try another wine bar with my brother in Montréal. I think that drinking will helps me relax after a day like that!!!

Freeter ie o kau!

Yesterday I started to watch this drama with Ninomiya Kazunari. It's not a funny one. It's a story about a 25 years old man who still lives with his parent while switching jobs all the time. At the beginning he had a good job but dumped it because he hated his boss and obligations. For sure having party after work all the time (and pay for it), finishing late everyday and  not be able to criticize about anything in the company brings people to feels like they worth nothing. Since it's the way to do it in Japan I guess it's better to play the game if you want a good situation. If you don't want that than go in another country.

I'm use to this kinda work problems related drama. The things that really drives me mad was the other side of this drama. His mother was as housewife. She was doing shores and meals for the men of the house without any concideration. She was taking care of them but they don't even look at her. Sometimes responding stuff like.... You don't know what is like outside, your lucky to stay home.... or... you don't have anything to say since you never worked and you don't bring any money.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr when I ear stuff like that it makes me want to hit that man with a shovel untill blood spilled everywhere.

The mother turned in depression and now they will have to take care of thier ass. It's about time!!! Stupid males!

K@T-TUN new single sales.

I listen to this new single with  attention. I wanted to see what they can do. Well I think 'Change ur world' is a good song. As good as Keep the faith was but... when a single is related to a drama it gives more chances. People who are watching this drama will want the album. K@T-TUN members are not doing any drama for now and maybe not even in winter. This long absence will makes people forget about them. So they will forget to buy the album. Japan is bombarded of entertainment. A new star is born everyday. to keep up with the beat you have to move you ass end be seen.

This is the first week sales of K@T-TUN singles.

It's going down slowly. I wonder if it's gonna be worst in 2 years. Let's cross finger for them to be popular again.

Rain

Today it's raining like crazy. While I was taking the bus to my job I remembered something about bus in Japan. In Fukuoka city, bus stop their engine at each circulation lights. When they start again it's sounds like a old card ( gniii gniiii gniii gniii). It was really funny. I was always wondering... will it start again?? I think they do that to reduce emission of CO2. I'm sure that starter and injectors must but replace many times a year.

There is no way that bus will do that in Québec. First it's cold so if they stop engine too many times it will be hell cold in the bus. In Québec bus are really cowboys drivers. They like to speed and turn fast. Sometimes they don't even do stops.

Yesterday I watched a documentary filmed in Iran in a clinic. It was about the kidney market. It's legal and paid by state to give a kidney in Iran. Woman and man can decide to give their kidney for 1000$(US) paid by state and between 2000$ to 3000$ paid by the receiver. The receiver wait for a giver than deal the price. If the giver don't accept the price he can refuse so the receiver have to wait for the next. In a way it's great cause everyone is master of his body. But the problem is that in America, a kidney worth at least 15000$. If someone wants to make money in Iran they can get it for 3000$ than sell it back in US for 20000$ for a 17000$ profit. I don't know if they are already doing that but it will probably come. It's really taking advantage of poor people. They said in the documentary that most of them don't really solve their problems with that money and at the end it change nothing. Even if some of the patient and staff was not really at ease with camera, they accepted to show this to the world. It's a sad situation but at least they dont hide it.

Magic books!

With time I lost any internet related site about sorcery books. I downloaded more than 50 of them many years ago. I will need to search all my old CD or hard drive to find them. Some of them are already printed and ready to read.

Great clavicles of Solomon (4 books)
Dogme of high Magic (E.Levis)
Red dragon
Poule Noir
Great and little Albert
Goetia
Necronomicon (witch is not really one... it's H.P Lovecraft imagination)
Etc....

I will check if any more can be printed. I think I will begin by Solomon's book. The worst part is the angel/demons name charts. It's like reading the bible. After one page you forget any names. It's really long.

This is the main solomon's talisman.

I carved one like that in Stone when I was young. I was more motivated at that time. Solomon's book are based on Christian god. Little bit boring but a basic book . This talisman is based on 12 names of god. In this book all angels and demons are linked to egyptian or other religion gods. so for each of them you got the angel/demons/egyptian or greek name.  Also you learn the basic about astrologia, 4 element, days of the week, moon cycle related to each anglels. Some of those books are really crazy and more funny than effective.

CIC papers sent!

After reviewing again all the immigration papers I sent them today! Finaly! Now only time will tell if it's accepted. I am confident that it will but I'm sad that I have to wait 1 year to have him with me. Well then now... let's prepare for the christmas trip to japan. All my gifts are now ready. They will take space in my bags. I think that I will bring only some cloth and one there I'll buy some more. Since I'm concidered as ''extremely big ass'' in japan, I will bring only jeans. It's close to imposible to buy woman's jeans for me in uniqlo. I'm 30 inch. I don't think they have anything over 26-27. Last time I had to buy men's jeans 33 inch to fit me. Japan woman's are soooooooooo small and fragile in general.

I found this funny immigration image!

'Yamapi' Asian tour 2011!

As said on the site 'Tokyograph', Yamashita Tomohisa (25), will launch a solo tour starting in January, planned to consist of 27 concerts in 10 cities over the course of a few months. Although the majority of those will be in Japan, the tour will include 10 shows in 5 cities outside Japan, starting with Hong Kong.

His last one was not a hit but he got some new songs to add to this tour! Korean pop music is more and more present in all asia. Even in Japan! It's kinda of sad for all the artist in Japan. There is soooo much of them. It must be horrible to loose audience to another country. In Québec we don't have much artist. We usually listen to U.S. product. Since it always been like that, we don't really see it as problem. But in Japan there is thousands of groups and singers trying to make a living out of music. It must be really hard to get a chance if you are not sponsered by a solid company.

I cross my finger for Yamashita san! As he said,  he hopes to show fans "what only Japan's Johnny's can do." Ganbare!!

Santenay 1er cru 2006!

This time I wanted to try a wine from the Burgundy region. Pinot noir is a strong cépage. I like the intensity of it. When you pay more that 40$ for a bottle usually it mean more quality. Quality does'nt mean good taste. In this case yes. When a burgundy wine is classified as '1er cru' this mean that specialist tasted it and juged it. If you really hate 'pinot noir' cépage maybe you won't like it but in any other case you will like it for sure.

(Pink reflexion :PPP)

1 : Domaine Lucien Muzard et Fils 2006 Santenay 1er Cru Maladière

Red wine. Light but intence. Smell of blackberries. The best year to drink it is 2010.

8/10

Vintage : 2006

Producer : Domaine Lucien Muzard

Cépage : 100% Pinot Noir

 Country : France

Region : Burgundy

App.: Côte de Beaune

Stabilization and Clarification.

Once The 10 days had passed, I can now stabilize my wine. This mean that I stop all futur fermentation. The wine is still dim at this phase. It needs to be clarified. Adding some chemical product and stir like crazy for more than 10 min to take off as many CO2 as I can from the wine. At the end, flotting particules will all fall to bottom. Now I have to wait 8 days before transfering the wine to another countainer. Normaly, I don't have to transfer it untill I bottle the wine but this time I have 1 more phase. This wine is a superior quality one (supposely). Let's see if it's true!!!

First th grape in details.

This is the composition of grapes. The pedicel countain ' tanin' and herbs taste that only some winery keep with the grapes skin while doing maceration.

Maceration

Maceration is a big part of red wine making. White wine don't go through that process. If you press red, black or blue grape only white liquid will comes out. To get the wine color you wish, you have to let the skin go through maceration process to give additional taste and color. This is the process I wanted to add to my own wine but I will have to calcualte the amount of sugar versus yeast to make it work. The sugar density can de tested whit hydrometer. In the kit I use to make wine, I have a bag of yeast made for 23liters of wine with a certain sugar density. If I add real grapes and skin it will change this balance. For now I'm studying all about fermentation and maceration to make sure not to make mistake. I found many sites that explain this process.

/from wikipedia/
The process of maceration begins, to varying extent, as soon as the grapes' skins are broken and exposed to some degree of heat. Temperature is the guiding force, with higher temperatures encouraging more breakdown and extraction of phenols from the skins and other grape materials. Maceration continues during the fermentation period, and can last well past the point when the yeast has converted all sugars into alcohol. The process itself is a slow one with compounds such as the anthocyanins needing to pass through the cell membrane of the skins to come into contact with the wine. During fermentation, higher temperatures and higher alcohol levels can encourage this process with the alcohol acting as a solvent to assist in the breakdown of the organic compounds within the grape materials. This process seems to slow once the wine reaches an alcohol level of 10%.

Throughout the fermentation process, carbon dioxide is released as a byproduct of the conversion of sugar into alcohol. The carbon dioxide seeks to escape from the must by rising to the top of the mixture, pushing the grape skins and other materials to the top as well. This forms what is known as a cap that is visible on top of the fermentation vessel. At this point, a very limited amount of the must comes into contact with the skins, and winemakers seek to correct this by pushing down the cap (either with equipment or the traditional method of stomping down with their feet) or by pumping wine out from under and over onto the cap. This process of "pumping over" or "punching down" the cap is done often throughout the fermentation process, depending on the extent of maceration the winemaker desires. An efficient and modern method of maceration is the "pneumatage process" in which compressed air or gas is sequentially injected into the juice. The bubble created during the pneumatage process uses gravity and the weight of the juice to circulate the wine juice with the cap of skins and grape solids allowing for greater extraction of aroma, coloring agents and tannins to diffuse into the wine juice ("must").

There is 2 new kind of maceration process.

The process of cold maceration is where temperatures of the fermenting must are kept low to encourage extraction by water and added sulfur dioxide rather relying principle on heat and alcohol to act as a solvent. This technique was popular in the production of Burgundy wines in the 1970s & 1980s but there is still some debate among enologists about the overall benefits and resulting quality of the wine. (This process is good for grapes who are not sweet enough)

Carbonic maceration is the fermentation of whole clusters of unbroken grapes in an atmosphere saturated with carbon dioxide, which prevents traditional yeast fermentation. It is a process different from what is commonly referred to in winemaking as "maceration". (Grapes are but in there intact. The gravity and weight press the juice out and gives color and aroma at the same time.)

Wine Bottles

In order to make more than 1 batch of wine while you drink the other you need a lot of bottles. I don't drink fast so I needed to prepare new bottles. Fortunatly I am also buying wine so I can use those bottles. It's a long process. I had to wash them, take off the tag stickers and clean them with sulfite. The worst part is stickers. Some of them can be detatch in hot water after 1-2 hours. For some others I need solvent to take off the glue. I'm also trying to illiminate clear bottles. Wine don't like light, so if the bottles are transparent, the wine cannot be kept for a long time. I try to choose only dark bordeaux shaped bottles. (The one on the left)

With time I will have a lot of them, but for now I only have 48. I can make 2 batch. Up untill now, my new wine seems to do well. It really smells like 'Chateau neuf du pape'. In 2-3 days I will be able to jump to next step.

Eliphas Levi

Today a little bit of magic. It's been a while since last time I read witchcraft book. This one is my favorite autor. I have all his work. It's interesting. I begun to read about it when I was playing at D&D many years ago. At that time, my GM (game master) introduced the witch character to me. After a while, I wanted to know what real witchcraft was, at least the most 'serious' one. Eliphas Levi was one of them.

Eliphas Levi (the pen name of Abbé Louis Constant, 1810-1875), was a French occultist who is credited for reviving interest in magic in the 19th century. Levi's writings have been appraised as being highly imaginative but not very accurate. His first and probably most important work was The Dogma and Ritual of High Magic. It was followed by A History of Magic, Transcendental Magic, The Key of Great Mysteries, and other occult books. Levi "believed in the existence of a universal 'secret doctrine' of magic throughout history, everywhere in the world."

After him came Aleister Crowley. He believe to be an incarnation of Levi itself. It's really hard to know what is due to mental illness and what is true from those books but it's interesting to read.

There is 3 kinda of magic (who can be devided in other most specific kind):

Sorcery : Spells and incantation to call deities to get favor or power from them.

Wikka : Protection and light spell using your own power and property of surounding nature forces.

Magic : Trick, mind control by practice and illusions.

The only one I am interested in is sorcery. Deities invented by humans to serve humans. All the will power of people who believe in a 'God' create this entity and give it's property (god of fire, war, fertility...). Without humans there is no god. When a god stop to have believers he is 'asleep'. You can wake him up again but you need his real name. The name only creators gave him. Ahhhhh I miss that I think I will read a bit this weekend.

AKB48?? What is that?

Ohhhhhhhhhh well, I just got the news on 'Tokyograph site that those 16 girls are selling really good in the japan industrie. Since I'm a woman of a certain age I don't usually listen to that kinda group. I already feel childish and pervert watching KAT-TUN and NEWS at my age. However, I wanted to know why they sold 1 million of their last single called 'beginner'.

After listening the video... well... It's like a bunch of too young erotic dancer who can also sing. I understand why they are so popular. It's free imagination pervertion for pedophile. I'm sure many old man have a picture of them in the bathroom. Wahhhhhhhhhhh horrible just to think about it. They are so many that you can't really know witch one is singing. The song is quite simple. Not a hit but not that bad.

In Québec that kinda of stuff is impossible. It's use of underage girls for their body to make money. It's not good for a girl reputation to wear that kinda of stuff and move like that at this age. Here young girls doing that are concidered as 'slot'. Not only by the old people but at school by young men. Like easy to sleep with and stupid.

In Japan it's normal... well... as long as they make money they don't really care to do anything. Since they are young and wish to be a star, they can ask them to do everything they wants. Idoling system is really bringing artist to total submission. At least sometimes they make enough money to get out of this and live well. That is the good part.

I'm sure they think... bahhh it's oki in 1 month people will forget about it. Yeahhhhhhhhh right! It's not always true. Look the case of Akanishi Jin, lately he was in a concert in US and got a stuffed turtle to kiss on the stage. The 'Akame' effect won't disolve that easily. For the people who don't know about 'Akame' I will explain.

In Japan, there is a popular pervert way to imagine young idol or artist doing romantic or erotic stuff together called 'Yaoi'. Because Kamenashi Kazuya and Akanishi Jin was always togheter even in drama, after 'Gokusen' people started to imagine stuff between those 2. A - KAME : Akanishi + KAMEnashi. It's a big and popular one. On the internet there is millions of Akame history, videos and manga. I did one myself. I was so curious to see how many people was Akame fans. I got 275000 clic on my youtube page for my Akame dorama 'Unforgiven'. I was really surprise. Seriously, I did it for fun only but... some people watched my dorama dreaming about this strory to be true. Sadly I had to move the videos to another youtube account before they close it for copyrights. But the new works good. I still have people submitting and commenting. Even after 1 years.

People don't always forget... I won't!

K@T-TUN

This friday, the new single of K@T-TUN (the 'A' in KAT-TUN was Akanishi who dumped the group) will be in stores. In this song, on youtube since 1 month, there is a really high note sing by Kamenashi close to the end. I will wait for a Music Station version of that with pop-corn!!! I can't believe they still ask them to do those impossible notes live. I'm pretty sure that it will be a disaster again. This song is good but really fast. Like 'Lips' song. Since the danse for this song will sure be fast and demanding maybe they will use lips sync. I cross my finger for them.

Second fermentation!

There you go! Yesterday a friend of mine who finish working before 5pm got a hydrometer for me at the store so. Like I though the mark was under 1.010. It was about time I begin the second fermentation process.

When doing the first fermentation you have to keep the barril open a bit. Because of that... if this process is too long, the alchool your are tranforming sugar into, will evaporate too much so the wine will be quite week. I had this problem last time and got like 7-8% of alchool instead of 12%.

The second process will last untill the hydrometer marks 0.998 or less. Close to 10 days. This time no contact with air. You place a little plastic device called 'Bonde'. This device is used to let the gaz of fermentation go out but no oxygen can go in.  I covered the countainer with a white blanket so no light will reflect on it. Light is not good for wine.

I will try not to break my hydrometer again.... hopefully (like my husband always say :)!!

Relax!!

Monday's are always as boring as ever!! I brought those boots last weekends.... I feel like home at the office. Today I won't work that much hard.

Yesterday at 1 am... I crashed my hydrometer on the floor. Now I can't take wine's sugar density anymore. I really need it. It's not like it's expensive but all the shops who sell wines making stuff are closing at 5pm. How can a shop is closing a 5pm. Everyone is working untill 5h so... who will be able to go to that store??? People who are not working don't have enough money to make wine. It's really a problem for me that I will have to solve quickly. I tryed lab supplies but they also close early and are far from subway stations. When I am in Montréal I feel in a jail. I am not using my car for work so when I need to go somewhere I have to go back home and then take my car. Taking my car for work means 1200$/year parking and more than 1 hours back and forth in traffic. So forget it!!!!!Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Montréal need more subway lines and stations. All est of Montréal is not diserve by subway. Most of ouest too. When you know Montréal well you can take bus. I have to find a way today or I may cry and hide under my bed!!!

Bubbles in wine!

The fermentation process (sugar + yeast)  is creating bubbles of Carbonic gaz and alcohol%. The process is the same for sparkling wine. They keep seeled those carbonic gaz bubble while fermentation and bottleling. The bubbles are not added after like COKE. This is a natural process when first fermentation is done. If you stop this process before all sugar is consumed by yeast the wine is little bit sweet but less alcohol is created. Since my wine is a red table wine I don't contain those bubble and have to eliminate them in later process.

First fermentation process

I started my wine yesterday. Now today I got my first bubbles from fermentation. This process takes 10 days. A strong smell of wine is flotting in the air. I like it!! This time I got the 'Chateau neuf du pape' kit. It's supposed to be mostly Shiraz and Grenache. My favorite cépage is grenache. The mix of my favorite Chateau neuf du pape, Domaine du vieux Lazaret, is grenache, shyraz mostly too. I hope this one will be good.

亀梨和也's fault!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Today I found on the net a blog evaluating all Kamenashi Kazuya's work up untill now. Overacting, Bad singing, no interest in the script, bad interpretation. Well... people who hate Kame-san ... really hate him. I mean... it was a really long page with picture and big text. When you don't like an actor, why spending hours to make that kinda site. People are really crazy.  Kame-san and Yamashita-san are the worst critizised. Is it jealousy or truth?

JE are asking young ones to do a bunch of stuff. Singing, acting, dancing, hosting, play, radio...etc. Since the artist in my country only do 1 thing at once and make a new album each 2-3 years.... I guess that working that much for young people must be really hard. That probably brings mistake, bad moods and lack of concentration. Witch is quite normal. I also see the mistake they do, I also laugh, but I understand why it happens. It's sad to read web pages that give shit to JE like if they are all a bunch of cute kid relaxing all day counting the money they do by doing cheap music and bad acting for stupid fans. I'm sure it's not the case. Those crap sites give a bad image to JE and probably affect them somehow.

Celebration!

I've been to pullman yesterday. This time no big surprise. I tried 1 trio. I got 3 cheap wine. Some of them really not worthy. Since I wish to taste as much wine possible in my life from all over the world... I have no choice but to give a try no matter what. But yesterday.. it was really ... no matter what! I hope to have better one next week.

My boss asked me to bring wine for the christmas party at the job. First thing I asked her was... can we be drunk? She said yes so... I will use my new knowledge to bring a sparcking light wine to begin, a red wine not too strong and a Ice wine to complete with the dessert and sweets. Let's have some class!! Since it's gona be my last days of work before going to Japan, I want to celebrate it!

Next Wine in process 'Grenache'

This week I will start a new batch of wine. This time I will follow a new plan.
The taste is really cheap up untill now. Since I'm a perfectionist I want more.
I will try 3 new process.

First : Before the first fermentation, I will get black grape and crush them to add juice to make 23ltr instead of water. 1.5kl of grape for 1 litre of juice.
Second : I will keep grape skin inside with the wine for 24 hours before adding the fermentation powder.
Third : During second fermentation I will remove some CO2 everyday by stiring instead of only when adding sulfite.

This is the plan. I hope it will help my wine to be more tastefull. Let's cross fingers.

Bunka no hi

One of my co-worker came to me this morning... he said : '' Why are you here??? you must be off today cause in Japan everything is closed today!!''. Today it's Culture's day in Japan. I wish I could be off today but sadly not.... I don't usually remember witch days are off in my own country. I don't really care why they are.... as long as I can stay in my bed in the morning, I'm happy. Most of the time, co-workers warn me about those days in advance because they know I might forget about it and come to work hahaha!!! I found a list of japanese holydays.

NameDateRemarks
New Year's Day (元日, Ganjitsu?)January 1This national holiday was established in 1948, as a day to celebrate the new year. New Year's Day marks the beginning of Japan's most important holiday season, the New Year season (正月, Shōgatsu?), which generally refers to the first one, three or seven days of the year. Although not prescribed by law, many workplaces are closed from December 29 to January 3. Prior to 1948, New Year's Day was a national holiday on which the imperial worship ceremony known as Shihō-hai (四方拝?) took place.
Coming of Age Day (成人の日, Seijin no Hi?)Second Monday of JanuaryThis national holiday was established in 1948 as a day to congratulate and encourage people who have reached the age of majority (20) during the year. Cities and towns throughout the nation hold ceremonies for these people. Originally held on January 15, in 2000 it was changed to the second Monday of January in accordance with the Happy Monday System. (See below.)
National Foundation Day (建国記念の日, Kenkoku Kinen no Hi?)February 11This national holiday was established in 1966 (and first held in 1967) as a day to reflect on the establishment of the nation and to nourish a love for the country. From 1872 to 1948, February 11 was known as Kigen-setsu (紀元節?), a holiday commemorating the day on which—according to the Nihon-shoki—Emperor Jimmu is said to have acceded the throne in 660 BCE.
Vernal equinox (春分の日, Shunbun no Hi?)Around March 20[1]This national holiday was established in 1948 as a day for the admiration of nature and the love of living things. Prior to 1948, the vernal equinox was an imperial ancestor worship festival called Shunki kōrei-sai (春季皇霊祭?).
Shōwa Day (昭和の日, Shōwa no Hi?)April 29This national holiday was established in 2007 as a day to reflect on the events of the Shōwa period. As the birthday of Emperor Shōwa, April 29 was originally celebrated as a holiday during his lifetime. (See "The Emperor's Birthday" below.) After the death of the emperor in 1989, the date continued to be a holiday under the new name "Greenery Day". (See also below.) In 2007, Greenery Day was moved to May 4, and April 29 took the name "Shōwa Day" in honor of the late Emperor. Shōwa Day marks the start of the Golden Week holiday period.
Constitution Memorial Day (憲法記念日, Kenpō Kinenbi?)May 3This national holiday was established in 1948, to commemorate the day on which Japan's postwar constitution took effect. Constitution Memorial Day falls during Golden Week.
Greenery Day (みどりの日, Midori no Hi?)May 4This national holiday is celebrated as a day to commune with nature and be grateful for its blessings. Originally established in 1989 and held annually on April 29 (the late Shōwa Emperor's birthday), in 2007, Greenery Day was moved to May 4, and April 29 was renamed "Shōwa Day" (see above.) Greenery Day falls during Golden Week. (From 1986 to 2006, May 4 was a kokumin no kyūjitsu holiday.)
Children's Day (こどもの日, Kodomo no Hi?)May 5This national holiday was established in 1948, as a day on which to esteem the personalities of children and plan for their happiness. It is on this day that the Japanese equivalent of the Dragon Boat Festival (端午の節句, Tango no sekku?) is held. On this day, families who have a boy in their home may fly koi streamers and decorate their homes with armor or samurai dolls. Children's Day marks the end of Golden Week.
Marine Day (海の日, Umi no Hi?)Third Monday of JulyThis national holiday was established in 1995 (and first held in 1996) as a day of gratitude for the blessings of the oceans and for hoping for the prosperity of the maritime nation that is Japan. Originally held on July 20, in 2003 it was changed to the third Monday of July in accordance with the Happy Monday System. (See below.)
Respect-for-the-Aged Day (敬老の日, Keirō no Hi?)Third Monday of SeptemberThis national holiday was established in 1966 as a day to respect the elderly and celebrate long life. Originally held on September 15, it originated as a renaming of Old Folks' Day (老人の日, Rōjin no hi?). In 2003, it was changed to the third Monday of September in accordance with the Happy Monday System. (See below.)
Autumnal equinox (秋分の日, Shūbun no Hi?)Around September 23[2]This national holiday was established in 1948 as a day on which to honor one's ancestors and remember the dead. Prior to 1948, the autumnal equinox was an imperial ancestor worship festival called Shūki kōrei-sai (秋季皇霊祭?).

(See below.)
Culture Day (文化の日, Bunka no Hi?)November 3This national holiday was established in 1948. It commemorates the November 3, 1946 announcement of the Constitution. It is recognized as a day to celebrate peace and freedom and promote culture. (Although prior to the establishment of this holiday in 1948, November 3 was also a national holiday called Meiji-setsu (明治節?) commemorating the birthday of Emperor Meiji, the two holidays are ostensibly unrelated.)
Labour Thanksgiving Day (勤労感謝の日, Kinrō Kansha no Hi?)November 23This national holiday was established in 1948 as an occasion for praising labor, celebrating production and giving one another thanks. Prior to the establishment of this holiday, November 23 was celebrated as an imperial harvest festival called Niiname-sai (新嘗祭?).

JE condems NEWS slowly to death.

What the hell is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just listen to the 'Fighting man' single. Ohhhhhhhhh my god!

First : Gamushara Cha Cha Cha ?????????? What the hell is that!!! How old they are now to sing that kinda childish song.

Second : Fighting man.....sorry but my country is french AND english so....don't be wet - get a grip....How can you chose a incorrect english sentence like that and put it in the main song chorus of the single. The whole song play on my nerves. It's a crap.

Third : Wake up - Winter Moon even  Ai wa Simple na Curry Rice....What the hell....those are THE good songs on this album.

Why the hell doing PV and publicity for Fighting man when it's sure not the best song on this single. Marketing wise it's stupid.
I'm so sad. NEWS is the first group I knew from JE. They had a great future ahead. What happened??? Shinjirarenai!

In my opinion Wake up! IS the main song on this single. I don't know who take care of NEWS carrer but I want to butt their ass right NOW!

I like Arashi a lot but everyone knows that they have only 2 great voice in that group (Ohno and Nino). But even so.... all song that comes out are always great. NEWS have Yamashita - Keiichiro - Tegoshi and Massu but...... all they can do is that!!!! A group gets better with time usually. Arashi got better, KAT-TUN got better. NEWS have the potential but after 2006 - Hoshi wo Mezashite....what happened. They only got crap song to sing. On the last album I kept 3 song good enough to listen. I'm pissed off!!!

WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING WITH NEWS!!!!

Recurrent dream.

Since close to a year now, I am dreaming of a specific place at least once a week. I've never been there for real. It's a shore. It's close to dark see. The scenario is almost always at night. I'm always trying to avoid something and searching for something at the same time. Sometimes running along the shore. Around me, wood floor made with plank disposed randomly painted white or pale grey. Rocks and mountain close by. Dark see with strong waves. Sometimes I see someone and sometime I'm alone. I never remember the face of this person. The only thing I remember well is the scenary. Cruise ship are close to shore or passing by full of passenger. A flash came back to me while I was working yesterday and I tried to draw this shore. It's been a longgggg while that I didn't drew anything. I lost some of my habilities to reproduce.

I don't really care about what I am doing there. This search for something or someone is secondary. What I like about this dream is sea shore. I am sure that this dream repeat only because I feel happy in it. I even feel the wind on my face while big waves smash to rocks. Hmmmmmmmm... wish I will have it again tonight.

Vampire

Ahhhhhhhhhh Vampires. I started to like vampires with 'Angel' serie. He was the man of the situation. I mean... did you watched Twilight??? Wahhhhhhhhhhhh what's that!! Do you really think this boy would ever be feared by anyone. He his soooo skinny and delicate. Even Brad Pitt is bigger than him.

I found this picture on the net. It's a great exemple of the difference between a kid and a man. Even when I was a kid, I always prefered real man. I don't know what's going on those days with hero's. They are completely shrinking. I like stong and tall man. It's more realistic. How can you imagine This skinny kid fighting with anything else than his shoes lace??? Ahhhhhhhhh !!! What's going on in this world? Angel where are you???
