Québec Wine!

Yesterday I was at the 'Salon des Vin et Fromage du Québec'. I tasted 10 different red wines from different cépage. Sadly... I realize that cépage here in Québec are not as tasty as french or Italian one. I ended up chosing only 1 of them well balanced. It's a wine from Vents d'Ange winery. This one was the best.

The worst was St-Sulpice from the Domaine de l'Ile Ronde. This one was extremely unbalanced. Too long in oak barrel so no more wine taste.

In my opinion, Québec have still a lot to learn about wine making. After 30 years of wine making.... they didn't learn a lot. I think they like wine and they have the passion for sure... but to sell wine enough to become popular you have to follow some wine making rules. Since there is no 'appellation' in Québec, all of them are considered as country wine or assembly wine. Appellation is bunch of rules that apply to cépage and process in wine making. It's, for costumer, a way to be sure that the wines is not cut with water or strangely mixed. It give trust. Trust bring popularity. Popularity bring money. Money gives the possibily to offer more wines and quality. Without this basic trust... nothing will come.

Some of them have the potential to becomes as good as California or Autralian wines. French and Italian ... well ... it's more tough to try to get close to this quality. I hope they will developpe more. I think, in my opinion, that they MUST go get knowledge in France on wine making. Be helped by elder is the key to grow in life.

Arashi no Calendar 2011!!

Pffffffff..........I am not a big fan that much....!!! héhéhé!!! .... uso!......My husband brought me the next Arashi's calendar. That will be funny to look at it. Since my last calendar I had home was 2008 lol!!! I never think of buying one. It's a good idea to have one. My sweety is the best!!!!

Fly to me!

We are now in the process of immigration. Those forms are really long. After you fill all of this, you feel dizzy. This is a long process. In total, if we are lucky, more than 8 month. Forms, picture, emails, flying tickets.... They need everything. I would be easier to hide him home as my sexual slave than going through all that :P Since I'm not a yakuza I will have to go through immigration :) !! Next time he will come to Canada it will be for good. At least ... as long I am not sick of my own country. Since sponsorship is 3 years, we can't live elsewhere. 3 more winter.....but at least, no more lonely night :)!

Today staring 'Innocent Bystander, Australia'!

Yesterday I tried 4 red wine. One of them, the Australian one, was really nice. Ritch and full of flavor and aroma. When I drank it, I felt like I was in the wood under a strong sun eating a pizza. hmmmmm....pizza!

Salon des Vins et Fromages 2010!

There you go! This weekend will be a good one. There are more than 30 winery in Québec. I was surprise. I wonder how vines can survive to -40. I will ask them for sure. Vines are suppose to die when it goes under -17c. It's very fragile plant. Maybe it's a geneticaly altered vines tougher than the one in France or Italie. At this Salon, 45 local company will present products. I have no idea what is the taste of Québec wines. I never tried any. I always had the impression that it will be a pale copy of French wine. Since the wineries are young, the quality of the fruit will not be the same. I am exited to taste it.

Brain stop!

Since last friday I have a flu. My congestion is permanant and my voice altered. Witch is funny. My last one was 3 years ago. I hate that. Since I can't confine at home, I am working really slow. By the way.... I got 2 books on wine. I want to know more about cepage and appelation. Wine is a complicate product. I think I will enjoy degustation more if I have more knowledge. I plan to go back to 'Pullman' again this week to enjoy more wine and share my discovery with you all. I hope this flu will be gone friday.... I don't taste anything for now.

Tokyo!

After my trip and fun with Daisuke's parent I will have 1 day to spend in Tokyo after shinkansen. There is 2 things I wanted to see absolutly. First Tokyo Tower. I don't want to just be close or see it from far. I want to go in and touch it.

Tokyo Tower is an old dreame I had. Many years ago, I started to watch Sakura Card Captor. It was for children but it was really good to learn japanese. This animation was also really cute and romantic. Every episode she wake up after dreaming of the Tokyo Tower. Since Sakura is my first connection with the japanese world, I want to touch it so dreams will take form.

The second thing I wanna see is a fountain. Sound stupid ..... but very important. This particular fountain bring back my first good memories of a great change in my life.

After beging completely dried up, I lived like a 'himono onna' for years but a special moment in a japanese dorama called 'Sapuri' changed my point of view. I changed from 'NO WAY EVER AGAIN' to 'Maybe'. This turning point was determinant and changed my life. I am now married to someone who worth it. Without this moment... I would still have been on the 'NO WAY' mode. I want to go there with my husband and kiss. Ohhhhhhhhh Cheesy moment here..... hahahah. Sadly this will be in winter so the fountain will be probably closed. Even with no water, I wanna be there. Only 1 month 1/2 before going. I'am getting exited.

Luck!

My husband gave me this cause the one I had before was useless cause it was a 50 yen. This 5 yen is suppose to bring me luck. He also made sure that my birth date was on it 昭和 51年. Waaaaaaaaa what a great attention! Soooo sweet of him. I hope I can also bring him luck for his treatement to go well. Ganbatte anata!

Today it's monday and like always I am tired and grumpy. I feel like sleeping of go hide in a dark place so my eyes won't be blinded by neon light. I just finished watching Hotaru no Hikari 2. It was a good dorama but they must stop now. No other possible subject to explore in this dorama. It's cute but nothing more. The first season was better. At least it as a great ending. Some japanese dorama now innovate by positive ending. It's a new concept for them to end up happy hahaha!!! It can't always turn bad in life. I believe that!

Kamenashi Kazuya funny!!

My favorite actor, who is not always the singer he wish to be, also had problems at Music Station.

For an over-exposure reason, Kamenashi is not doing that much this year. He did a dorama last winter but nothing else this year. I wonder if he's gonna show some new work for 2011. At least I will see him at the JE countdown. I will be in Japan this christmas and new years so... I wonder how I will be able to watch the countdown. I don't think it's the kinda of things my husband's parents are watching. I may go hide in he's room to watch it!!!!

[flashvideo file=http://darkash.no-ip.biz/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/ms-kame-se-trompe-amigo_NEW.flv /]

The real sentence is : Narihibiita keitai denwa iya na yokan ga mune wo yogiru (sawagu???? hahaha)!! Kamenashi is well know for his bad memories. I think there is too much in this little head!!!

[flashvideo file=http://darkash.no-ip.biz/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/kame-terrible-notes2_NEW.flv /]

Wahhhhhhhhh This note is really hard to make live. They made numerous prestation of this song live and 90% was bad. I am sure 'Kame' was asking himself just before starting the note... ''why the hell they decided on those high notes... and why me! ... Would they realize it if I just go hide behind Koki?!!!! héhéhé!

NEWS - Fighting man

NEWS finaly made another single. The song is called 'Fighting man'. But the only thing you will remember of it is 'Don't be wet, Get a grip' from the chorus. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh god! I wonder who decide to put that non-sense english in those songs. I also wonder why Arashi get all the good songs and NEWS and KAT-TUN get all the crap those days. News is the big looser. They really keep all the boring song in reserve just for them. This one is the best they had so far but still.... cheap. Did they do something bad?

Music Station is the worst place for a JE. I wonder why they still accept to do it. Yamashita is really cursed there. He got cought doing lip synch of the song 'Daite Senorita' in the past.

Okaasan!

Today it's raining hard and it's pretty cold. A perfect day to stay in bed. Unfortunatly I can't. Since I have to work I try to stay awake drinking a lot of coffee. I am using the pen okaasan gave me in Japan. Ahhhh I would love to watch Korean dorama with her than being at my job today. Burkkkkkkkk!!! Bills Bills Bills. I hate numbers! I never like mathematics. I'm not good in anything abstract. I don't even remember my brother's phone number by heart. He have the same since more than 10 years. I just want to escape to Japan......

Tron Legacy!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I just got the news. For geek all over the world (like me), a wonderfull news. They just finished a new TRON movies. This one is in 3D. One of the original cast member, Jeff Bridges is in it! This movie was one of my favorite. Like Dune and Star Wars, it's Science Fiction pure 200% from the 80's. I was young when I saw it but I remember it very well. The concept was new. People who are sucked in a game program. I'am soooooooo happy!!! Yattaaaaaaaa! I will go see it for sure.

Karigurashi no Arrietty

New movie from Ghibli studio : Karigurashi no Arrietty

Seems to be the story of little people who lives in a normal big house. I sense that a cute young man is also living there and will fall in love with the young girl... and like always... they will end up living appart cause it's better for them. So they will believe that living through this was a experience that will make them grows so they lost nothing ending it and are happy to turn the page and never see them again. That way it's possible for them to have something new with no regret.Hahahahaha!!!! Sorry it's sooooo typically japanese!

みなしごハッチ - Like we said in french 'Hutchi'

Muzukashiiiiii!!

I love this song so much. I remember when I was very young singing the opening thinking it was chinese or spanish :). The story of this little bee was always terrible and sad. Each episode an insect was dying. I remember one story about a kind of insect that dies when give birth and is eated by the babies. When your very young it's kinda rough stuff. But in a way, It was reallity. Insect have short life and kinda horrible sometimes. I was sad each episode but I watched them all. Mostly to ear the opening song. The creator of this animation lost his mother when he was really young. I think it traumatized him a bit. He also did 'Demetan'. It's a frog playing banjo. Same stuff than huchi but less powerfull. This one was boring. It was too childish. Even when I was a child I was difficult on cheese stuff. It's like watching Maya the bee just after Huchi. It's same as having a Ferrari than driving a Ford Focus.

I know, I know.... it's different from the original you used to know. It's live. This woman have a strange voice you think?. Many old japanese woman have that voice. It's japanese style technique (ENKA). I'm used to it. But if you want a clean version just start the next video.

That's the way I remember it too. But I like both. It's my favorite song ever. Because it's the first. It's like a first bike or car. It's sometimes cheese but you Hold on to it.

Ryo Ikebe is dead!

Well you will ask yourself.... who is Ryo Ikebe. I wanted to know what movies he does and realized that I saw one of them in the past by mistake. When I was about 18 years old, I wanted to watch Star Wars badly during the weekends. I got to a videostore and rented one who was called ' Battle in outerspace'. In french the translation was the same as the US Star Wars 'La guerre des étoiles'. When I started the tape.......ohhhhhhhhhhh boy!!! I was laughing all the time. This was a really poor mix between Star Wars and Star Trek. The acking was really bad and the special effect worst than Star Trek (the first series).

I was surprise to see that this movie was made  in 1959. Seven years after came Star Trek the original series with captain Kirk. Star Wars arrive only in 1977. I think this japanese version was the first to do that kinda of movies in color. If you never watched it please do. You can  see the cables that support the little ship in the air when they fight. They also wear funny costume.

I wonder why my videostore had that movie. Where did they get it?? It was doubled in french (ahhhhhhhhh). Maybe it was cheap to have it at that time. Now it's a rare movie. They must keep this tape.

Dubai trip is succesfull!

My husband was in Dubai to get a paper for canadien immigration. He tried some month before to apply with the help of a friend but.... never worked. He decide to go and do it himself. I am greatfull to him for such hard work to live with me in Québec. What a husband desu ne!!!!! :). He will have to wait for the certificate 2 or 3 weeks. At least, this time, the application succed. It's the last paper he needed.

This week and the next, I am going to the doctor for check up on my misterious disease. I want this to be over for my next trip to Japan. I wonder if it's gonna be cold in Kyoto. Fukuoka is kinda hot even in winter. I am wondering what I'm gonna wear??? Big coat, light coat.... Since in Québec it will probably be -5 around the 22 of december... Ahhhhhhhh dohhhh....

最後の約束 (Saigo no Yakusoku)

Today I have a lot of things to do since i did absolutly nothing this weekend. After shores I will watch something new.

They like doing that kinda of all together special. I wonder what this one is all about. The last I checked was Kiiroi Namida. This one was great. I think Saigo no Yakusoku is a comedy so it's probably completely different.

Dubai tomorrow!

My husband have to go to Dubai tomorrow for 4 days. He needs some paper there. I hope everything will go well. I don't know a lot about this country but I am sure don't want to go there. For a woman, it's dangerous to go in Arabic country. Women there are treated like slaves.  Since I'm far to be one I won't go there. In Québec, woman are equal to men. For sure there are still some jokes on woman.... but a law obligate compagny to pay them equaly.  As soon as a woman can buy car, house and more... men don't have any control on them. They don't have to stay home  cleaning, cooking  and beging for money. A woman with money is free. That's why all repressive country keep them home and uneducated. Like slaves.

There is many place in they world where women can't just visit alone and have fun like men do. They always have to be with someone. It's little bit unbelievable in 2010. Some country progress socialy but sadly a lot seems to regress. I wonder if  it's gonna change someday. I don't think I will live to see women burning Hijab and Burka on the market place in UAE. I think only Vulcans can take care of that :PPPP

Tea, Scotch & Porto

Yesterday I've been to a Pub in Montréal. It's called 'Ile noire' (Black Isle). They have 150 kinda of scotch and other liquors. It was a great discovery. it gives the opportunity to try really expensive scotch. Before going there I've waited my brother at my favorite kissaten (tea store).

I've tried a really strong black chinese tea. After 3-4 cups I was really ready to stay 3 days awake.
Then I got to the scotch place.

After 3 try... got little dizzy :) but it was funny. I like to try new stuff. I want to find a Wine bar too!!!

Uverworld song Qualia

Uverworld new single ''Qualia''. Great new song. I think it was better for them not doing punk music anymore. Punk and Underground is good for thinking that your different and better than pop music group but you stay poor and unrecognize. It's cheese to do jpop but it pays well. With he's voice, Takuya diserve to be listening by more people. Sooooooooooooo powerfull voice in a soooooooooo little body! He's also kinda cute. It also help for being popular :P.

Ohhhhh you want to listen to the song.... let's not make you wait!

Fukuoka News! Saga Grannies Sing in Shanghai.

Today I got this news from Fukuoka Now web site.

''Gabba, a singing group consisting of eight Saga Prefecture grandmothers, appeared Saturday at the Shanghai World Expo to promote tourism in their prefecture on Saga Prefecture Day. The group, whose oldest member is 93, has given about 150 performances in Japan on TV shows and events. It was formed after the city of Takeo in the prefecture was chosen as a location for the television series ‘‘Saga No Gabai Bachan’’, based on a childhood memoir by Japanese comedian Yoichi Shimada.''

I think it's great that old people are active in community. They are still part of sociaty event if most people forget about them most of the time. I believe that when your old, your life is not ending but just continue slower. I think that, even if I am old, I will continue playing games online and making blogs and web pages. I don't wanna just play card and sit watching TV. We don't transform in old people form (like a instant spell), we becomes older. I didn't change any of my pass time since I'm 15. I don't think it will change being 80.

Yui - Please Stay With Me

I'm watching Matsumoto's dorama Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku. The theme song is made by Arashi and the insert song by YUI. This is a wonderfull song. YUI's voice is special. I don't usually listen woman's music but for a voice like that I will make an exeption. I like pure voice. Voice that you can tell is not only for commcercial purpose.

I discovered her with Bleach animation. She was doing the 5th season song 'Life'. Her new song 'Please stay with me' is wonderfull. Please listen to it if you never did before.

Health

Well Well Well.... Look at this big and yummie sandwitch.

Hmmmm..... Is that a healthy one... well not that bad. It's better than having Mcdonalds. I am trying to loose weight. Oki oki... I'm only 140lbs (5 feet 8inch tall) but I have a little belly. I guess it comes with age. When you get 30 a lot of things change. You gain weight when your not actif. You have less patience for stuff you don't like. You wish to have a more serious relation. For some woman ... they also need baby and house and dogs. For me no.... baby's are really not my priority. I love my husband and trust him enough to have one someday maybe. For now is an absolute 'NO'. I'm just begining to travel and have some money. I don't wanna give up on that for now.

Let's come back to what I was talking about.....health! I go to gym at least 2-3 times a week (for now cause i got a little disease not still treated). I am trying to eat less. I am not giving up on pizza and stuff but less. You know the feeling... ahhhhhhhhh I'm hungry but I don't want to cook...... then.... just stay where you are and skip this meal. Since I started to do that I lost 7 pounds. Loosing 10 lbs more will be perfect for me. I will try hard. Ganbarimasu!

Apache email setting pop/smtp done!

There you go!!!!!

Yesterday I configured email posting. Sadly I cannot post with my cell direcly (SMTP Certificate in apache Ahhhhhhh). I can't send picture from my OVI mail to gmail for posting. It ask for smpt. But when I use hotmail it works automatically. It really drives me crazy. I will try to understand it better this week and. The security on hotmail is now really crazy. I was sending email from gmail or OVI mail and it was blocked. I had to add them in safe adress sender. Well at least I found a way around (like always). I have to send it to hotmail then foward it to gmail to post. But it works. So now I will be able to post more often.

New online game!!! The best since WOW!

I have try yesterday a new online game recommended by a gaming friend of mine who, like me, search for the perfect online mmo ever!!! Now we found it I think. It's called Lord of the Ring Online. It's 3 times better than WOW and free. The installation is 10gig and the quality is incredible for a free game. The housing system is completely what I was searching for. I will, for sure, spend nights on that game this week!!!

This is not a refined game pics by photoshop. This is the real quality in-game. The water is amazing.

If you ever need a replacement for WOW. This is the game to choose. And by the way..... I have a dual core really cheap, g-force fanless graphic card and 4 gig of ram dual-channel with windows 7 beta (extended). Everything works great with no lag.

Enjoy!!!

Wine!!

Winemaking!

I am a beginer in winery but I love it! It's a long process and a really difficult one when it's summer. Wine must always be kept between 18c and 24c degree. When it's 35c outside it's a pain in the ass trying to maintain a cool envirment. I will make a new batch soon. Now it will be much more easy to control since it's around 17c everyday outside. My best wine is red. Pure like blood!!!

[gallery link="file"]

I will go get the juice to begin soon. I only have 2 month left before going to Japan for 2 weeks. I won't be able to take care of my wine while away. I comes to know Australian Cabernet Sauvignon veru much cause it's my brother's best. Just by smelling it, I can tell.

Well Well Well!!!

No more french here hahaha!! I don't know enough people who actually speak french and read blog.... so starting from now it will be in english.

Page web!
